It was fine thanks to the 1-for-1 promotion, otherwise it wouldn't be worth it. The best is the fresh seafood, but in general it lacks variety. Went on a Sunday for lunch and it was packed, you had to talk quite loud to be able to have a conversation. Hardly no vegetables/salad.
I was there for the Seafood On Ice, and I was not disappointed. The snow crabs were big and juicy, the oysters are good. Everything else, except for the curry crayfish, nothing really stood out for me. Choices were limited. If not for the fresh seafood, I would have been mad for the price I’m paying for this buffet. Service was great, that’s a plus. A bit stingy on the parking fee though. Only $3.50 off the $6.50 high parking charges. Not free.
But I will still come back again some day for the Seafood On Ice! 🙂
Indulge in a delightful seafood buffet where you can enjoy 1-for-1 promotions with your family and friends. Feast on an array of fresh and unlimited seafood delights, including oysters, prawns, scallops, crabs, and more. It's a perfect gathering for seafood lovers!
Came here hoping for some good hotel buffet and I was hugely disappointed.
The 1 for 1 does look good but at $88 per pax and after taxes, it works out to be $52 per person with only mediocre food.
My companion who is just a 15 year old kid even said that there are alot cheaper ones with better selection of food...
So starting with the cold dishes and japanese section... No sashimi? They do have smoked salmon, but it just didn't feel right. Their sushi selection were decent only...
They do have the usual cold prawns, trh tough mussels and the only specialisty would be their scampi aka mini lobsters.
Cooked food wise, it was pretty boring as usual...with some meats, veges, rice, noodles and soup. All were ok but none was outstanding.
Even the noodles station was just a Mee Siam and some lamb rack.
Desserts were alright too.
There was some freeflow of ice water and luo han guo drink, which was not too bad. But the glasses they used were too tiny... And u simply have to go back for refilling at least 4-5 times throughout the meal.
Service was not too bad but for the price I paid and the quality and quantity of food, this is at most a 4 out of 10.
I will not be here again for sure. And for lunch buffets, I am sure there are alot better out there.
The quality of the food is okay, but not really worth the price.
It is worth if you are eating mainly the seafood (especially the fresh oysters) and the roast beef & lamb. Other than that, the other dishes are not very worth.
The service is extremely fast, as soon as your leave your table to get more food, the previous empty plates disappears.
I would only recommend going if you have DBS/POSB Card for the 1 for 1 Promotion & if you have a huge stomach for seafood.
The buffet was satisfactory given the 1-for-1 price offer. However, the food variety was somewhat limited. The seafood station stood out as the highlight, featuring oysters, prawns, king crab legs, and mussels. The sashimi station, on the other hand, had a modest selection, offering only salmon and octopus.
The cooked food station served a variety of dishes, including beef and lamb steak, black pepper crayfish, and a self-service rojak. Additionally, they had Singapore laksa and assorted Ngoh Hiang.
In summary, the overall dining experience was enjoyable. The waitress provided excellent service, attentively clearing our plates.
Food are quite nice, but if can more variety then will more good. Must try their soup, it was very delicious.
Lamp not some nice, can skip it.
Buffet spread for a weekday lunch is miserable. Not much varieties compared to pre-covid period. The cooked food section only offered Chinese food and noodles station only had duck noodles. Used to have prawn noodles and laksa in the past. No crowd at all. UOB credit card gets 1-for-1 deal.
